Job summary:

This role will be part of a small team aiming to unlock lasting change in the Agricultural Inputs sector, helping to catalyze sustainable growth of agriculture in Kenya.

She/he will play a key role in designing and delivering interventions that look to unlock opportunities in the sector. It will involve developing a robust evidence base of what works and what doesn’t to drive agricultural productivity improvements, developing mechanisms to foster innovation, and building relationships and brokering deals with key stakeholders in the sector, from leading input companies to public sector decision makers. Gatsby works adaptively, so interventions regularly change, however examples may include driving investment and farmer uptake of agricultural lime to address soil acidity, facilitating sustainable farmer extension models and working with associations to balance and nurture the public and private sectors' complementary roles to implement the access to quality inputs / establishment of inputs traceability system.

Job summary:

Job summary:

The Senior Manager Research, Evidence and Engagement role will be responsible for managing a programme of research to ensure that Gatsby’s approach is well-evidenced and grounded in economic practice, as well as drawing out strong examples of this work in practice from their programmes.
